This year the shows varied with ones in Kindergartens, Primary Schools and Libraries "auf Deutsch" plus others in Secondary Schools and Libraries in English. Also this year a new storytelling show of English stories for adults - "Tea with Mustard"! - a mix of shortbread biscuits, songs, stories and a pot of tea! Plus, during the tour, a memorable day off climbing in deep, deep snow up the 'Laber' - a 1683 metre high mountain near Oberammergau. Most of the shows in Hessen were in English for German pupils as part of their English studies - either with teenagers helping expand their vocabulary and understanding of English, or with "Grundschule" (Junior age) pupils, hopefully showing them that learning English can be fun through song, stories and puppets. In Bavaria I did quite a few of the English shows but also many shows "Auf Deutsch" for Kindergartens, as well as public "Family Shows" in libraries and small Arts Centres. This year "Haesliche Entlein" (The Ugly Duckling) and "Loewenzahnstrasse 7" (No 7 Dandelion Street) were performed and very well received. Hopefully back to Germany again next Spring.

Major Mustard Moves into New Millenium

Hello and welcome,

I am a professional puppeteer and storyteller with many years experience in the art of puppet theatre.
